Comments Welcome During Police Accreditation Process

Got a beef with La Crosse police?  Coming up, you’ll have an opportunity to let them know about it.  And your comments might have an impact on whether the department gains accreditation again.  The La Crosse police department was the first in Wisconsin to get re-accredited ten years ago and is going for its fourth re-accreditation.  Part of the process is public comments and you can give them this month on the evening of the 23rd at the northside community policing center.  The comments will come during a three day review of the department by an assessment team.
