Koula back In La Crosse County Courtroom Today

Eric Koula gets a chance today to argue for another trial, or a dismissal of

his murder conviction. An afternoon court hearing will deal with a couple of issues relating to Koula’s trial in La Crosse two years ago.  Koula was found guilty of killing his parents for his inheritance, after losing many thousands of dollars in stock trading.  His appeal lawyers have challenged Judge Scott Horne’s instructions to the jury.  They also claim that more weight should have been given to the belief that professional killers shot Koula’s parents by mistake, when the hitmen were actually looking for a house up the block in Barre Mills.
