Lax County Courtrooms Going Higher Tech

New technology is making its way to the La Crosse courthouse…

Over the next few weeks, modern electronic ‘presentation equipment’ will be installed in the courtrooms that were built nearly 20 years ago. That may mean computer-based video systems, instead of the current practice of using overhead projectors and portable movie screens. County clerk of courts Pam Radtke says the equipment hasn’t been ordered yet, but people working on ‘big trials’ coming later this year have been asking when new equipment might be ready.

 

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
