Limits to Online Court Access Not Likely This Session

It looks like a popular web access portal to circuit court records in Wisconsin will remain open for now.  A proposal to limit access to the site known as C-CAP isn’t likely to pass this legislative session.  And that’s likely a good thing, says democratic state rep and attorney general candidate, Jon Richards, in the interest of open government

 

 

C-CAP currently allows access to all adult circuit court cases regardless of status or outcome.
