Voting Rights Advocate Criticizes ID Special Session

Having a functional Voter ID law in Wisconsin isn’t just important to govenor Walker.  According to the governor, it’s the most important election issue in the state.  So important that Walker says he’ll call a special legislative session to make sure working voter ID requirements are in place by November’s elections.  Bad move, says Jay Heck with Wisconsin Common Cause

Although the governor signed voter ID rules into law in 2011, constitutional challenges to the law have kept it from getting used.
