Council Committee Could Vote on Senior Centers Tonight

The future of senior programs in La Crosse will likely be different than the programs offered now.   City park and rec director, Steve Carlyon says the needs of baby boomers in their senior years will be different than the older group now.  Although some things will remain constant

Where those programs are delivered in La Crosse is a bit of a question.  The city’s public works board has recommended shutting down the two current senior centers within three years.  A city council committee could vote on that recommendation tonight.
