Troop Training Up At Fort McCoy In 2013

Three years ago, Fort McCoy lost its designation as one of the Army’s

eight mobilization training centers due to a scale back of in troops in Iraq. Meaning less training on the base. But that wasn’t the case last year says Linda Fournier.

Fort McCoy was a mobilization center for training troops from across the nation since 2003, and was one of two centers to lose the mobilization designation when the federal fiscal year ended in late 2010.
