Sparta Police Four For Four

Sparta police are 4 for 4. They have made yet another arrest thanks to their

use of social media. This time it’s 24 year old Erik Garcia who was featured on the latest Wanted Wednesday fugitive Facebook poster. Garcia was wanted by the Department of Corrections for a parole violation and had been on the run since November 2013. Warrants had also been issued for Garcia by Monroe County and Waushara County. Within minutes of posting Garcia’s wanted poster on their facebook page and twitter feed they started receiving tips that Garcia was frequently staying at a home in Sparta. Last night, police went to the house and Garcia was found inside and surrendered himself without incident.
