Group Urges Biomass as Propane Replacement

The one thing that the propane shortage has illustrated is the dangers of being over-reliant on a market commodity for heat during a brutal winter.  Which is why, says Micheal Vickerman, at Renew Wiscnosin, there needs to be more work to establish an infrastructure of biomass to heat to supplement those areas that rely on propane

Vickerman’s group wants state and local governments to fund infrastructure improvement to make a local biomass network more feasible and immune to fluctuating market prices for other fuels.
