Huebsch Hopes WI Tax Rates Will Be Lower By April

Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch says the Walker staff is working on many ways to cut down on a 900-million dollar surplus and reduce taxes. Huebsch expects changes soon in the state’s tax withholding tables:

 

Speaking on WIZM’s La Crosse Talk, Huebsch believes the withholding reforms and other proposals for lowering the surplus will get strong bipartisan support.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk."
