DeSoto Woman Leads Cops On High Speed Chase

A high speed chase Saturday that involved Vernon and Crawford County deputies

finds a 19 year old woman in jail today. Cops say 19 year old Heidi Frawley led them on a pursuit that traveled 27 miles through the towns of Wheatland, Sterling, Franklin, and the Town of Freeman in Crawford County. Earlier Saturday, a deputy was investigating a suspicious car in the Town of Wheatland. During the investigation the deputy learned that the car’s owner, Frawley of De soto had a felony arrest warrant.

Cops says Frawley led them on a chase at speeds over 70 miles per hour in the snow. Vernon County Deputies were able to deploy the tire spikes which flattened her tires. Frawley was arrested and taken to the Vernon County Detention Center to await her next court appearance. Frawley was currently out on court bond in Vernon and Lacrosse Counties.
