Flesch Runs For 96th Seat

A retired dairy farmer from Soldiers Grove is the first democratic candidate for the 96th Assembly district.

Pete Flesch entered politics in 1999 by serving on his town board. Since then he’s served as town chairman, county board member, and chairman of the Crawford county board.

The 96th district, currently represented by republican Lee Nerison co9uld become an open seat this year. Nerison has not said what his intentions are as of yet.
