Billings Talks Heroin

The spread of heroin use throughout Wisconsin has been rapid over the past

five years. State rep Jill Billings of La Crosse has been in the legislature for three years now, working on bills aimed at limiting that spread.  Billings is the mother of teenagers, and she’s been watching how the La Crosse area has tried to handle hazardous drugs:

Billings says local community members have not been content to deal with drug issues in the same old way.  She’s working with the county heroin task force to support anti-drug bills being considered in Madison.
