Schultz Saw Crisis Coming
A propane crisis hurting the midwest is being being felt in many states
including Wisconsin. Senator Dale Schultz of Richland Center says he saw this crisis coming months ago.
And as state agencies try to address the propane shortage, Xcel Energy is asking residential and business customers in those areas to conserve natural gas by turning their thermostats down to 60 and avoiding using natural gas appliances. This after an explosion in Canada damaged up to three main pipe lines that serve western Wisconsin.
