Shilling Slams WEDC Money Vote
Senator Jennifer Shilling offered the Democratic weekly radio address today.
She criticized the decision to provide additional taxpayer funding to Governor Walker’s Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Shilling said unfortunately, Walker’s WEDC has been caught spending taxpayer dollars on everything from football tickets and alcohol to iTunes gift cards. The Legislature’s budget committee voted to release $59 million in funding to Wisconsin’s chief jobs agency it had held in reserve on the condition that problems cited in an audit were addressed.
