Van Doren Wants 3rd Congressional Seat

Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District has received it’s first challenger.

Ron Kind currently holds the seat and Mauston’s Ken Van Doren wants it. Van Doren, retired building contractor and former Mauston City Council and school board member will formally announce his candidacy for the seat at three press conferences this week. Van Doren will stop at the La Crosse Days Inn at 9 AM tomorrow, and at 1PM, he will hold a press conference north of Eau Claire. Friday he’ll announce in Portage.
