1 Of 2 Prison Escapees Facing State Prison Time

20 year old James Misleveck, one of two men who escaped from a Black

River Falls prison last year and went on a crime spree was in a Wisconsin court room late last week. Misleveck pleaded no contest in Jackson County Circuit Court to three charges….Kidnapping, Theft, and Escape. Misleveck will face sentencing on March 28th. He and 19 year old James Newman took off from the prison back in the summer of 2012. The pair were on the run for about a week before being captured by police in Florida, where they committed more crimes. The crime spree netted Newman a ten year federal sentence while Misleveck was sentenced to 15 years federal prison time.
