Gruenke To Over See Monroe County Case

Tim Gruenke, La Crosse County D.A. will now take over the state’s case

against the former director of operations at Three Bears Lodge in Warrens who faces 8 charges including sexual assault. Gruenke replaces Dan Cary who died back in November.

 

The 2-16 year old girls say 37 year old Jason Dippen had sex with them after he got them drunk at his house back in January of last year. Both girls were employees of Dippen’s. The girls said they were too groggy to realize what was happening though Dippen told police the pair instigated the sex.

 

Dippen, out on a cash bail, will be back in court January 12th. If convicted, Dippen faces 70 years behind bars.
