Family Dollar Robbed In Sparta

Sparta Police are still investigating a robbery at a dollar store that happened last weekend.

Police say it happened around 5:35 p.m. Sunday at Family Dollar on Black River Street. Workers there say a man went up to the cashier and demanded money. He threatened to kill the employees if they didn’t give him money. He ran from the store with an unknown amount of cash and smokes. No one was hurt.
