Tax Bills Can be December Surprise for Some

Along with your holiday greetings, come property tax bills in the mail.  Not necessarily welcome.  Especially with big increases from WTC and the La Crosse school district.  A decrease in the city of La Crosse.  And someday those taxes could go lower, says city council finance committee chair, Audrey Kader

Homeowner in La Crosse with an average property value of about 121 thousand dollars will pay over 36 hundred dollars in property taxes to all taxing jurisdictions for 2014.
