Erlandson Back To Jail
Judge Elliott Levine speaks to Heath Erlandson, just
before sending Erlandson back to the La Crosse County jail for three months. Erlandson served a jail sentence earlier this year, after pleading guilty to a head-on collision outside La Crosse that killed a motorcycle rider. Erlandson was convicted of being under the influence when he hit Paul Betsinger’s cycle. He admitted to having drinks at Thanksgiving, while worrying about personal problems:
The D-A’s office says Erlandson’s relapse was a ‘significant drinking event,’ at home with his family. Levine will review the case in a few weeks to decide what happens to Erlandson next.
