It won’t be a completely done deal after tonight, but a sale of a large empty lot on the northside of La Crosse could take a big step forward. The La Crosse city council finance committee is scheduled to vote on a purchase agreement for the land that’s commonly known as Trane Plant 6. 360 Real Estate Solutions is the buyer for the long-vacant property. The company plans a big retail, office and residential development for the spot and could break ground in July. The final deal is contingent on a number of different things, including the company being able to secure tax credits for low income housing.
