Gow Welcomes Baldwin ROTC Look Over

Wisconsin US Senate Democrat Tammy Baldwin is supporting a plan to reduce

sexual assaults in the military and she wants to expand it to include college ROTC programs. Monitoring of cadets is another measure being looked at though it may not be needed….at least not locally.

Responding to Baldwin’s call, UW-L Chancellor Joe Gow says as long as he’s been at the local university, the ROTC has recorded no problems. Other senators have come out against the plan, fearing it would strip authority from military commanders.
