Health Care Website Concerns Growing
President Obama spoke to the nation Thursday about the Affordable care Act
website.
He admitted that fewer than 27 thousand Americans selected an insurance plan through the federal healthcare.gov site, which is handling enrollment for 36 states. Meanwhile, under 900 have signed up in Wisconsin. Gunderson Health System’s Greg Skempf says concerns are rising here.
Wisconsin’s total was about one sixth of the 5500 people projected to sign up for Obama care in the first month of purchasing. The government said just over 19 thousand Wisconsinites got far enough to submit applications online although just 877 got through.
