Veteran’s Day Breakfast Today At UW-L
A program at 9:15 this morning will take place inside the Veterans
Hall of Honor inside the UW-L Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.
The program includes comments from Freedom Honor Flight President Bill Hoel, UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow, UW-La Crosse Athletics Director Josh Whitman, Logistics Health President Don Weber and Garrison Commander Colonel Steven W. Nott of Ft. McCoy.
Hoel says today is a day for vet’s to get together…..and share stories…and learn more about the Freedom Honor Flight.
UW-La Crosse student athletes will welcome the veterans and serve as wait staff for a free breakfast this morning from 8-10 a.m.
