New Garbage Carts Arriving Early

Should be three months before La Crosse’s new garbage service begins.  But the new wheeled carts for the service will begin arriving long before that.  The carts–most of them the 95 gallon size–will get delivered starting in early December.  Although city public works director Dale Hexom expects a few glitches in the new process, overall it should go pretty well.  And he hears good feedback from the public as well

Beginning the week of December 10th, every household will get one cart for garbage and one cart for a greatly expanded list of recyclables.  The city’s garbage contractor says people can start using the new carts as soon as they get them.
