Nasty Drug Now In Wisconsin
A heroin substitute that can eat your skin appears to have reached

The drug is called krokodil. Imported from Russia, it has been seen in a few states outside Wisconsin. People who can’t afford to buy or make heroin have been getting krokodil instead, according to Keith Lease of the Coulee Council on Addictions:
The caustic chemicals in Krokodil…such as gasoline and paint thinner…seem to decay skin from the inside. Lease is co-chair of a heroin task force in La Crosse, which has agreed to study the effects of krokodil.
