District Surprised At Numbers Of School Name Submissions

Theodore Roosevelt……..Obama……Taxpayer Community Education

Foundation…….Logan Elementary and the Northside School of Dreams. Just a few of the 85 names submitted to the La Crosse School District for ideas of what to name the elementary school being constructed on the Northside. Superintendent, Randy Nelson says he and the school board were happy with the amount of names sent in. No matter what they were.

Other names submitted include Pine Creek Pine Ridge……Elmer Grassman……Black River…..Woodland and Matthias Harter Elementary school. The board should have a name be the end of December.
