The first of 35 public hearings will be held this week on a wide ranging
plan to improve Wisconsin’s deer hunting. DNR Secretary, Cathy Stepp says the deer report is for you.
DNR study teams made recommendations based on 62 ideas from Texas researcher James Kroll. 2 local public hearings will be held. The first, on Wednesday in Black River Falls at the Lunda Auditorium from 7-9pm and Thursday in LaCrosse at the DNR Service Center on Mormon Coulee Road from 7-9pm.
