Harbor Lease Vote This Week by Council Committee

Things could go badly for the guy operating the Municipal Boat Harbor in La Crosse this week.  The city council finance committee votes on whether to revoke the lease held by Steve Mills for three decades because of non-compliance issues.  Which would be fair, says committee chair, Audrey Kader, who says those city leases are not things to be trifled with

City staff says Mills has violated his lease in a variety of ways, including subleasing to a couple of businesses without city council permission.
