Frac Report Gets Hearing Today
A report heading to the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board today will
hopefully slow down a huge frac sand development in Southeastern Minnesota. Johanna Rupprecht (ROOP-Wrecked) is with the Minnesota Land Stewardship Project.
She says the frac mine company should also be required to fully disclose the proposers’ business ties and track record. Minnesota Sands is proposing at least 11 mines in Fillmore, Houston and Winona counties.
