Child Steals Necklace Worth 50k

A 17 year-old girl high schooler in La Crosse faces very adult charges for stealing and then selling a fifty thousand dollar diamond necklace.  Police say the girl sold the 4.6 carat necklace to a manager-in-training at a jewelry store in the Valley View mall for a hundred bucks.  It was the store that notified the FBI about the necklace.  Cops say the guy who bought the stolen necklace doesn’t face charges although how the deal went down is apparently against store policy.  Told cops he was going to give the necklace to his wife.
