Shilling Behind Voucher School Bill

State Senator, Jennifer Shilling is behind a new bill that would address

numerous shortcomings in Governor Scott Walkers newly created statewide private school voucher program. Like the fact that voucher schools are not subject to state graduation standards are not required to be located in Wisconsin.

Legislation is currently being drafted to address these issues and is expected to be ready for introduction before the start of the 2013-14 school year.
