Autopsy Back On French Island Pair

The La Crosse County Medical Examiner’s Office has not only released

the names of the two people killed this week in an apartment on French Island but also the manner in which they died.

 

Forensic autopsies were completed late Thursday and preliminary results indicate that 18 year old Dana Shefelbine of Holmen was the victim of edged weapon and blunt force trauma homicidal violence. 22 year old Jesse Klukas of the Town of Cambell died from a suicidal gunshot injury. Additional testing is underway at this time.

 

No further information will be released by the Medical Examiner’s Office. This case remains under investigation by the Campbell Police Department, the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Office and the La Crosse County Medical Examiner.
