Furloughs Cut

U.S. Representative Ron Kind has commended the Department of Defense for reducing the number of furlough days that civilian employees will be subjected to from 11 days to six days.

DOD officials have announced that the Pentagon found sufficient savings in the last months of the current fiscal year to allow them to reduce the total number of furlough days from 11 to six.
