Loggers Lease Okayed, Team Dismayed

An agreement to keep the La Crosse Loggers playing at Copeland Park appears to be in jeopardy.  The La Crosse city council has okayed a lease agreement with liability language that’s unacceptable for the team.  Team legal rep, Brent Smith says the Loggers are disappointed after it seemed a breakthrough on a lease sticking point was reached last week

 

 

The city wants the Loggers to take sole responsibility for liability at the ballpark.  The current Logger lease expires at Copeland at the end of the month.
