Korean War Rememberance

The 60 year anniversary of the Korean War armistice, marking the end of hostilities on the peninsula was remembered in La Crosse Saturday. Jim Gausman with the county veterans office explains why the turnout of Korean War veterans was light.

Communist North Korea invaded South Korea with 135 thousand troops on June 25th, 1950, and three years later with more than 2.5 million dead, including more than more than 36 thousand Americans who died in combat, the war ended.
