A yes vote from Congressman Ron Kind when it comes to the NSA program. Kind says it’s a critical intelligence tool that
has proven successful in preventing terrorist attacks and keeping America safe. A no vote on the defense spending bill though. He says the Pentagon insists weapons being voted for…are not needed.
The House voted 217 to 205 Wednesday day to spare the
massive surveillance project. The effort to end the NSA project was an amendment to a defense spending bill for the next fiscal year. That package was approved 315 to 109.
