Estate Of Eric Koula’s Parents Settled

One piece of unfinished business from a major murder case in La Crosse County is now complete…

Judge Ramona Gonzalez has issued a final settlement on the estate of murder victims Dennis and Merna Koula.

The Koulas were shot to death in 2010 at their rural La Crosse County home. They had wanted their children Eric Koula and Cindy Cowell to divide their assets, but because Eric was convicted of killing them, he is prevented by the courts from inheriting anything from the estate. Probate documents placed Cindy in charge of the estate.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.

    Eric IS A WAH WAH spoiled brat that killed his parents over GREED. Cindy deserves the money and the things as she was a good daughter. The day trader lying POS DESERVES NOTHING I HOPE THEY BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM IN JAIL AND HIS WIFE IS A STUPID LADY AND THE SON IS A VOID.
