2nd Fire Station

Onalaska’s fire chief continues to push for a 2nd fire department for the city.  Chief Don Dominick says   building a new facility on highway 16 would benefit the city because it would improve response times in that area from ten minutes to four.  Dominick is hoping the city gets a 2.3 million dollar grant to pay for construction of a new fire house.  The city of Onalaska would have to foot the bill for the land.
