LOCAL STUDENT ATHLETE ON HIS WAY TO HAITI

A student athlete at UW-LaCrosse is going to help earthquake survivors. Senior Conner Lonning says with all the great opportunities in his life he would like to help out.  Lonning is leaving Saturday for Haiti and plans on spending about ten days helping people there.  He’s bringing his money and funds collected from his track and cross country teams and his friends at work at the Eagle’s Nest Bar.
