Ice Recovery Teams Deserve Credit

Upon further review……, a big attaboy to the ice rescue team of the fire department in La Crosse. And really everybody else involved in the Craig Meyers recovery last week says

 

 

 

La Crosse Fire chief Gregg Cleveland.    He says a successful recovery is very important and he’s very happy with how his team performed on the ice and how they coordinated efforts with other agencies on the scene.  He says the performance of his guys reinforces the notion that highly trained specialty rescue and recovery teams are needed in an area surrounded by the natural hazards of rivers and bluffs.
