Thief Busted With Booty at Train Station

If the train had only been a little earlier, a thief nabbed in La Crosse might have been walking the streets a free man today.   Cops say Jose Luis Temich was busted at the train depot on the northside this week-end.   They say the 25 year-old had a ticket for a train to Chicago.   But police also say Temich had a backpack, stolen cell phones and over four thousand dollars in cash he’d nipped from a home on the city’s southside the night before.   Police say they were able to seal the deal on Temich when they called one of the stolen phones and it rang inside of his backpack.
