A woman is recovering from an assortment of broken bones after a Black River Falls man apparently ran her over with his car following a dispute.

The incident happened Monday night in the Town of Brockway.

Police say 22-year-old Cody Winneshiek-Kish had confronted the 47-year-old woman at her house about some Facebook posts she had written, about Winneshiek-Kish's mom.

Winneshiek-Kish claimed the woman came out of her house and hit him with a metal pipe.

He then got in his car and hit her several times before fleeing the scene. He faces criminal charges, including hit and run causing injuries.
