The 6 p.m. show will be a bit longer tonight

Continued frigid weather has forced the La Crosse Skyrockers to cancel their traditional midnight fireworks show for Sunday night.

Instead, the 6 p.m. display will be made a little longer.

Up until Saturday, the Skyrockers had still planned to do both shows atop Grandad Bluff.

The Skyrockers cancelled their midnight show in 2006 because of snow and foggy conditions, but rescheduled it for the following night at 6 p.m.
